Dr. Ali Abdelshafy was selected for the Charlemagne Prize Academy Fellowship (Year 2024/2025). His research will focus on the EU mission of achieving 100 climate-neutral cities by 2030.

On 22.11.2024, Dr. Ali Abdelshafy has received the Friedrich Wilhelm Prize for his PhD dissertation “Towards climate-neutral and circular industrial systems - approaches for integrated modelling, assessment and planning at regional level”.

On November 27th Dennis Wagner defended his doctoral thesis successfully. The title of the dissertation is "A quantitative planning framework for the intergration of electric city busses into urban bus networks“.

We wish him the very best for his professional and private future and congratulate him again on his successful doctorate.
