Expert-Workshop „Alternative drivetrain technologies in China – status quo and future developments” in context of the STROM-project (Oktober 1st, 2012)

In which ways differ Germany and China relating to the topic of alternative drivetrain technologies? This question has been followed by german and chinese researchers within the framework of the expert workshop „Alternative drivetrain technologies in China – status quo and future developments“ on October 1st, 2012. In addition to presentations of chinese researchers of the Tongji University Shanghai and of german experts of the University of Trier and of the Hewlett Packard Company, the various challenges for politicians and automobile manufacturers while introducing alternative drivetrains have been discussed and trends in the behaviour of chinese car buyers have been identified. These new results and the better understanding of the chinese market will be used for the STROM project, which concentrates on market penetration of alternative drivetrain technologies in Germany and China.
