External Theses

External student theses

Generally we only mentor external theses, which were not offered through our industrial cooperation, in very rare cases. External theses are mostly related to a high amount of effort and unsatisfying supervision inside the company. For this reason we can only mentor master theses for students with good or very good student records. We cannot mentor bachelor theses.

If your are still interested, please send an e-mail to Julia Schleier. We apply the same application requirements and deadlines (31st January and 31st July) for external theses. Attach all of the following documents which are absolutely necessary:

•     Motivational letter (short description of the favored topic, motivation, special skills),
•     planed working period of the theses,
•     a current curriculum vitae and
•     a current transcript of records.

Please remember, that an application does not guarantee our will to mentor your thesis. However, we will get back to you shortly after (approx. 2 weeks).
